Many thanks to San Gabriel Valley Tribune Business Editor Kevin Smith for recognizing us as one local California business doing our part to address the drought. It was posted across several Press-Enterprise newspapers, including the Daily Breeze, Pasadena Star-News and the Long Beach Press-Telegram. Take a look and learn about the eight different companies featured in the story.

From the original article, dated Sept. 2, 2016:

Cali Green Turf, an El Segundo business that specializes in artificial turf, is keeping busy with both residential and commercial jobs, said co-owner George Cisneros.

“This is our peak season,” he said. “We’re busy every day, so we do up to two jobs a day. We focus on the South Bay, but we also work as far out as Sylmar, Malibu, the Inland Empire and Orange County. We have about 20 employees and we also have subcontractors to do big stadiums like football fields.”

The company installed artificial grass at the home of Fred and Marina Peleaz in Stevenson Ranch.

“We have a rectangular patch of grass along our driveway that the drought is killing,” Fred Peleaz said. “We’re also putting it in our front patio area as well. Everything has just dried up. We water those areas but it just dies.”
